The name Perpetua showed up in the Yachats area after Captain Cook visited in 1787. He purportedly named the 800-foot-high Cape Perpetua, three miles south of Yachats, after Saint Perpetua on March 7 of that year to honor the saint’s birth date.

Our Perpetua House is a special spot for a cozy get-away. With a partial ocean view, a living room with fireplace, a full kitchen and dining room, two bedrooms, this picturesque cottage is nestled in a beautiful, wooded setting.

Stay must be two-nights minimum; a one night, room and tax, advance deposit is required at the time of reservation.

Reservations must be canceled 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date to receive a full refund of the advance deposit. If canceled less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded only if the house is re-booked for the entire period of the reservation.
